RSB® pylons can be used for voltages from 11kV up to 132kV. We have solutions for straight-across or triangular mounting, single and two-course. Thanks to its modular nature, this type of pylon is also well suited to projects in which future voltage upgrades are envisaged. The slim shape and appearance of the pylons makes them well suited to built-up areas requiring a small footprint and also to agricultural areas, woodland, coastlines and bare mountains. The sections made up of large-scale tubular elements make the masts very unobtrusive and they blend well into the environment. The methods employed to make the foundations also enable lightweight equipment which does not harm the countryside to be used in environmentally sensitive areas, and the foundations themselves can be very unobtrusive. The pylons are very well suited to temporary uses and can be re-used. Example uses for voltages of 132 kV and below are:

• Load-bearing and anchoring pylons (straight-across or triangular mounting, single and two-course)
• Sub-station frames
• Terminal pylons
• Cable end pylons
• Busbars
• Frames for switches and other equipment
